So two nights have passed and still the game goes on, we lost 5 players on a major temptation at 2 AM, then the remaining 6 carried on till breakfast. At around 10 AM we lost two players, one fell asleep and the other decided his body was just not going to take any more…and now we’re down to 4. The Epic 4e DnD Session ran for 30 Hours!!! Players are already asking when the next GTYD event will be.

Kicking off at 8 PM the original 13 players expanded to 18 with players signing up on the day. The action started immediately with Deadman kicking off a 10 player game of DnD 4e (which is still going in 14 hours later) .  The players split into two groups to play Descent and Arkham Horror with all the expansions… Arkham unfortunately didn’t get very far as cup of Tea (no sugar) was spilt over the table causing a serious flooding around Arkham! With Arkham flooded the table moved on to Ideology.

14 hours later we’re left with 16 players still going strong.

Our first VTES Tournament is scheduled for July 18th with an 11 AM kick off. We expect to have between 8 and 12 players, hopefully 12, and we’ll be aim to be using the full tournament system with 3 rounds and then a final, using the official tournament scoring system. The tournament will use sealed decks from the Ebony Legacies of Blood expansion.

Players may use the same deck for the tournament or purchase new decks for each round or exchange complete decks with other players between rounds, if they wish to get some variety in the style of deck they play.

Participation prizes will be given to all players, as well as special prizes for the tournament winner and all finalists . These will include promotional cards, special boosters and starter  decks.

Entry fee is just the cost of the Starter Deck, no other costs.
