WORK IN PROGRESS.
Ladders are a form of free style league that allow players to play at their own pace with the aim of getting to the top of the ladder. Each ladder runs for a specific number of weeks/months and at the end of the time period the top two players play a final match to decide the winner. The number of matches played, won or lost is of no great importance for a ladder, just a player’s position on the ladder.
Ladder Rules.
- A player can challenge any player up to 2 steps above them.
- If a player beats another player then they move one step above them on the ladder.
- The top 4 players must play at least one match per week or automatically drop down two steps on the ladder.
- Players can not turn down a challenge unless they have already played a match that week.
- A player can play as many games as they like in one week.
- A ladder will generally run for 8 to 12 weeks.
- At the end of the time period the winner is decided by:
- A play off between the top 2 players
- Other ladder specific rules may be added when a ladder starts.
Ladder Matches.
- All Matches should use one of the following random scenarios victory conditions. (including Caster kill as always). Scenario is chosen at the time of play. The list will be expanded
- Steamroller Mosh Pit
- Steamroller No Mans Land
- There is a 15 minute limit per turn. No turn extention
