WORK IN PROGRESS.

Ladders are a form of free style league that allow players to play at their own pace with the aim of getting to the top of the ladder. Each ladder runs for a specific number of weeks/months and at the end of the time period the top two players play a final match to decide the winner. The number of matches played, won or lost is of no great importance for a ladder, just a player’s position on the ladder.

Ladder Rules.

  1. A player can challenge any player up to 2 steps above them.
  2. If a player beats another player then they move one step above them on the ladder.
  3. The top 4 players must play at least one match per week or automatically drop down two steps on the ladder.
  4. Players can not turn down a challenge unless they have already played a match that week.
  5. A player can play as many games as they like in one week.
  6. A ladder will generally run for 8 to 12 weeks.
  7. At the end of the time period the winner is decided by:
    • A play off between the top 2 players
  8. Other ladder specific rules may be added when a ladder starts.

Ladder Matches.

  1. All Matches should use one of the following random scenarios  victory conditions. (including Caster kill as always). Scenario is chosen at the time of play.  The list will be expanded
    • Steamroller Mosh Pit
    • Steamroller No Mans Land
  2. There is a 15 minute limit per turn. No turn extention
