Battlefield Bangkok

After kicking off competitive Warhammer and Hordes with the Steamroller event it’s time to kick off a ladder or two. These will be in the form of 500 and 750 ladders. Each Ladder runs three months and starts when we have 8 confirmed , registered and paid up players. Registration is THB 300 per ladder.

Ladder Cost : THB 300
Ladder Scoring (end of each month) : Top player 150 Points :: Second/ Third – 75 Points :: Fouth/Fifth – 50 Points
Ladder Scoring (After 3 Months) : Top player 250Points :: Second 125 Points :: Fouth/Fifth – 75 Points

Ladder Prize Points convert into Baht for Warmachine / Hordes purchases on a 1 for 1 basis.

หลังจากงาน Steamroller ได้ผ่านไปได้รับการตอบรับอย่างมากมาย แต่ก็มีส่วนมากที่ไม่ได้ลงแข่งเพราะติดอะไรหลายๆอย่าง
ทางเราก็เลยจัดการแข่งขัน Warmachine & Hords แบบ Ladder เป็นระยะเวลา 3 เดือน

การ แข่งขันแบบ Ladder เป็น League แบบ Free Style เป้าหมายคือทำคะแนนให้ได้อยู่เป็นอันดับสูงสุดของลำดับทั้งหมด การแข่งขันแบบ Ladder จะดำเนินเป็นระยะเวลาช่วงหนึ่ง(ทางเราจะจัดแบบ 3 เดือน) ในช่วงเวลาสุดท้ายของการแข่งขันจะมีการแข่งรอบสุดท้ายจากผู้เล่น 2 อันดับแรกเพื่อหาผู้ชนะ ในการแข่งขันแบบ Ladder จำนวนครั้งในการเล่น หรือจำนวนครั้งในผลแพ้ชนะจะไม่ใช่ประเด็นหลัก สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สดคือตำแน่งของผู้เล่น

กฏการแข่งขัน

1. ผู้เล่นสามารถท้าแข่งกับผู้เล่นได้ก็ได้ที่มีลำดับมากกว่าตัวเองไม่เกิน 2 ลำดับ
2. ถ้าผู้เล่นสามารถเอาชนะคนที่อยู่อันดับสูงกว่าได้ ผู้เล่นคนนั้นจะได้เลื่อนลำดับขึ้นไปอยู่เหนือคนที่เอาชนะได้
3. ผู้เล่นที่อยู่ในลำดับ Top 4 จะต้องมีการแข่งอย่างน้อยหนึ่งครั้งต่อหนึ่งอาทิตย์เพื่อที่จะรักษาลำดับไว้ ไม่อย่างนั้นจะตกอันดับไป 2 ขั้นโดยอัตโนมัติ
4. ผู้เล่นไม่สามารถปฏิเสทการท่าแข่งจากผู้เล่นอื่นได้ ยกเว้นเสียแต่ว่าผู้เล่นคนนั้นได้เล่นไปแล้วอย่างน้อง 1 ครั้งในอาทิตย์นั้น
5. ผู้เล่นสามารถมีการแข่งขันกี่ครั้งก็ได้ใน 1 อาทิตย์
6. Ladder จะดำเนินต่อเนื่องเป็นระยะเวลา 8 ถึง 12 อาทิตย์
7. ในวันสุดท้ายของอาทิตย์สุดท้ายของ League จะมีการแข่งขันหาผู้ชนะเลิศโดย การแข่งขันรอบสุดท้ายของ 2 อันดับแรก
8. อาจจะมีกฏเพิ่มเติมเพิ่มภายหลังจากที่การแข่งขันได้เริ่มแล้ว

การแข่งขันในแต่ละครั้งของ Ladder

1. การแข่งขันทุกครั้งจะใช้ scenarios victory conditions แบบสุ่ม (รวมถึงการฆ่า Warcaster) ซึ่งจะมี
* Steamroller Mosh Pit
* Steamroller No Mans Land
2. ใน 1 Turn จะมีเวลากำหนด 15 นาที ไม่มีการต่อเวลา

ในครั้งนี้จะมีทั้งการแข่งขันแบบ 500 แต้ม และ 750 แต้ม (แยกกัน) โดยผู้เล่น 1 คนสามารถลงแข่งได้ทั้ง 2 แบบถ้าต้องการ
โดยค่าสมัครแต่ละ League ราคา 300 บาท ใครที่สนใจสามารถติดต่อสอบถามรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมที่ร้านได้

Ladder are a form of free style league that allow players to play at their own pace with the aim of getting to the top of the ladder. Each ladder runs for a specific number of weeks and at the end of the time period the top player is the winner or the top players compete in a final match to decide the winner. The number of matches played, won or lost is of no great importance for a ladder, just a player’s position on the ladder.

You are very welcome to request ladders be set up for specific games.

Our first Anima Tactics league finished over the weekend with Kobby picking up his Free Blister and the Anima Tactics crown for Bangkok! It was a close league with lots of debate of the rules and I think everyone agrees that they really should get that new rule book released as soon as possible.  That aside, the figures are awesome, the core rules fluid and fast and it’s a very easy game to learn and play.

So our next league will start in July, this will be a 150 point league, opening the door to 3 character parties, or parties of 2 high level characters. The 150 point league will mean that there are 15 points of equipment on top of the character purchases and 1 point of Gnosis.  Scoring and league rules remain unchanged for the store.

The prize will again be a Blister of your choice if you win, entry is THB 100 or 200 Store EXP.

We should have a couple of new figures in stock by mid July, and if you need an one specific please let us know so we can order them for you.

Okay our first store leagues are in the launch process, we’re aiming for 6 or more people per league to get things rolling.  The leagues will be

• Anima tactics : 100 Points
• Warmachine : 350 Points (No Hordes)
• WoW Minis

If you have any suggestions for other leagues or would like to run and organize a league then please let us know. To join the above leagues the cost is 200 EXP or THB 100, let me or the store team know and we’ll sign you up!
